Our Why

The name Driftwood Point Events comes from the owner's family cabin located on Driftwood Point on Lake Coeur D’ Alene. Her love of wedding planning began at the young age of five, when multiple family weddings were held at this very cabin. From that moment on, she knew that she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others create the most memorable day of their lives.

How it works…

We are a team of three expert planners in the PNW. When you inquire you will be assigned a planner based on availability. Once you book your planner they will reach out to you to start the planning or coordinating process.

If you have a preferred planner that you would like to work with for your event. Simply inform us of your choice and if they are available on the date of your event, they will contact you to initiate the planning process.

Meet Paige

Hello!!!

I am so happy that you made it to my page! If you are here then you are in search for someone to help make an event to remember, well you have come to the right place! I have been in the event industry since 2015, I started out as an intern with a wedding planning company, then I was a wedding sales coordinator at The Davenport, followed by working at a 5 star wedding venue in Houston, TX where I coordinated 3-5 weddings a weekend. I moved back to my hometown of Coeur D’Alene, ID in 2020 and I opened my wedding planning business.

It’s most important to me that you have an event to remember. My goal is that all of your hard work in the planning process is executed perfectly. The best part about being a wedding planner is watching the couples first dance and seeing all the love in the room.

Meet Madeline

Hi!

I couldn’t be happier to be a wedding coordinator for Driftwood Point Events. I got my start in the wedding industry in 2020 assisting Paige on wedding days and learning all the ins and outs of wedding day coordination. I then got the opportunity to work at a wedding venue, managing and coordinating weddings. I am so excited to work with Driftwood Point Events focusing on planning and coordination!

I love discussing with couples about their wedding day dreams. My goal is to bring all the small details to life to make an event you will never forget!

Meet Gage

Hey y’all!  

To say I adore all genres of events is an understatement, words cannot describe how thrilled I am to be a wedding coordinator with Driftwood Point Events! Because truly, who doesn’t love a beautiful wedding?

I have been involved in the event industry since 2016 on the catering side, working for some of the top end catering companies in Washington D.C. then continued that after I moved to Coeur d’Alene. In addition to this, I eventually found my niche in coordination in 2020 when I started as an assistant wedding planner for a high end venue in Spokane. After 3 years there, I took on weddings as the head coordinator for another venue, while stepping one foot in the door as an intern at Driftwood Point Events. Here we are today: no longer an intern, and SO excited to make your day truly magical. 

One of my favorite things about the planning process is hearing about how you first met and how the proposal happened! Then seeing all the details come to life on your wedding day.
